The Legacy of Baybayin

Baybayin is the oldest indigenous script of the Philippines, a legacy that predates Spanish colonization by centuries. Originating from the pre-colonial era, it was the primary medium for the transmission of knowledge, history, and religious texts across the archipelago. Its preservation is not merely an academic exercise but a vital act of cultural continuity, ensuring that the wisdom of our ancestors remains accessible to future generations.
